The Amazing Recycling Robot contest has two main objectives.  First, an empty soda can, placed randomly around the starting position, must be found, secured, and then delivered to a light deep in the course.  On the way, the robot must first trip the center stationary light sensor and then either the left or right stationary light sensor.  Once the can is delivered, the robot must then move at least two of the orange golf balls to the orange shoot marked clearly on the ground outside the course.  

Entrants are scored by the amount of time it takes to complete the course.  Time is added to the score if the soda can is not placed in the correct location. However, time can also be subtracted from the score if more than two golf balls are recycled.
